Fun with the wiki! Fellow wiki editors (or even just people who are data geeks like me) might find this interesting.
So I've chatted a bit with @mcahogarth about one of the inevitable balancing acts of something like a wiki: you want as much information on it as possible, but too much information can be counterproductive unless it's well-organized. Specifically, we were looking at the information about minor character: characters who are mentioned once or maybe twice. Gathering information about them is useful, but a bunch of separate pages for them makes searching and browsing challenging, So there's an inherent trade-off.
I played around with a bunch of different possible solutions, and I think y'all might be interested in the result: the https://peltedverse.org/wiki/index.php/List_of_Minor_or_Background_Characters page.
My rule of thumb here is that it's for characters whose currently-available information can be summed up in two sentences or less. It doesn't have to do with how important they are in an abstract sense, just how much info we have about them in the canon. It's also sortable! So this gives Jaguar a way to find those minor characters if she wants/needs to (by species, by location, or by book), without cluttering up searches.
If you're a wiki contributor and this is intimidating, don't worry--if you don't want to fuss with the sortable table, you can put the info for minor characters somewhere else on the page or on another page and I (or someone else) will slot it in where it should go. <3

Anyway, while I organized this page, the wiki is always an evolving and collaborative project, so feel free to mention questions, suggestions, etc. :D
Edit to add: As a side note, you might notice that Eldritch characters tend to have pages even if they meet the criteria for 'minor character.' That's because those pages are used to dynamically generate lists of members of various families/houses, so there's an exception for that.
